Anyone else Raising Chicks right now?

I have one baby -- mixed breed -- and a broody silky bantam. We are experiencing a freak cold snap -- 23 degrees this morning. The two are in a coop with 2 heat lights. The temp near the lights is 70 degrees. Beatrice keeps running around and the baby (2.5 weeks old) can't get under her to stay warm. Any suggestions? I'm afraid to try and catch them to bring them inside. Beatrice is such a grump these days. I'm afraid she'll tramble the baby.

We have at least 100-150 chicks from 2 months to 2 days and hatching again later this week then well we hatch all year long so a few more to go this Year...around 100 are living in my basement..when they get fully feathered they move out to outside pens with heat..or when they start crowing in the house it's usually time for them to move out!

Yes, we are raising chicks again!! This time not ones we bought either. One of our SS hens came up missing....then a couple of days later we checked an old coop we have that was built in the 20s and to our surprise there she was in a nesting box sitting on 15 eggs!! This past Sunday we had 11 new additions to our flock! So mom and chicks have been moved onto the back screened-in porch. We have another BO trying to set on eggs now...oh but NO we are grabbing those up!!

25 in the indoor brooder that are like 5 days old, and another 30 in the incubator.
