Anyone else see these ducks for adoption?

    Awww, they're beautiful! I looked up the organization selling them and they rescue animals in risk of being euthanized from shelters.

    They are Cayuga, they are so black they look iridescent green in some light. Their eggs are also almost black.

    Those are definately black east indies, same green sheen (maybe shinier) like a cayuga but much smaller and can fly.

    Weird thing is this pic looked familiar because I saw it on CL and they have a listing up again?

    we have cayugas and they look like cayugas to me....but I am WAY new at this.
    I was looking for egg laying info....I think I found my first duck egg today!!

    I thought I would have to wait 5-6 months...turns out 17 WEEKS??? ay-yay-yay! So not ready! Oh, well....

    I like how they call them "fancy ducks". They didn't know the breed, so someone who knows about ducks would have a real treat as they're only $10 each.
