Anyone else seeing gas prices go UP again?!

I told DH when it started going down that the only reason it did was to free up consumer cash for the holidys. I told him it would go up right after the retailers made all their money and the government could use that to say the economy isn't as bad as it sounds......

I saw 2.00 exactly in Ossineke, MI. I paid 1.91 at the Walmart in Alpena though.

Cheapest I saw it here was 1.52 right before New Years. The same day it jumped 16 cents to 1.68.

No idea why.

Yes, a week ago it was $1.50, yesterday it was $1.89. That's HUGE!

I travel between Ellijay & Canton.I found gas in Jasper for 1.25 a gallon,but its went up to 1.48.

Speculators control the oil prices. The oil companies would keep it at 4 all the time if they could. More consumption drives up the speculation. Everyone needs to park the SUVs and only drive the trucks when needed. Get the prices down.

Does anybody have a wind turbine on your property. I'm wondering if they're worth the investment.
