Anyone Else too hot to be out in the Barn?

Hot weather I can handle, but it's when they use the words heat index and humidity that I start sweating. I think our feels like temp is to 101 today, but its about 97 really.
Looking forward to the rest of the week when cooler air arrives.

Sw MO.. 100 every day, went to the store and bought watermelon, cut it up and took big chunks out to the chicks- 10 3 weekers and 4 6 weekers.. I thought my DH was gonna fall out of his chair when I passed him by... Oh, did you want some too?? The chicks loved it.

I feel for you guys. I'm crossing my fingers. Normally it is that hot here by now, but we've been having unseasonably cool weather. I hope all of your chooks are okay.

It was 106 in central AR.

I did manage to water/feed and pick fresh grass for the chickens before 8 am. Was going to work some more in the new chicken house but sweat was pouring off me. Will try again at 6 am!! Put watermelon chucnks in the freezer for morning. I hope they like it.
