Here a "texas toothpick" is a deep fried sliver of jalipieno peppers. Served with onion rings.... and BBQ sauce....

Does anyone watch Feasting on Asphault ?? There was one recent season where he traveled I believe, along the Mississippi River & apparently, these Pickles soaked in Red Kool Aid were pretty popular ?! I forgot what they were called but they just added the kool aid to the pickle jar.. wonder how that tastes ...
