Anyone else's chicks hatching in May??

OK. The eggs are going into lock down after today. The fan is blowing hard which makes me worry. Some experienced hatcher recommended putting a light damp towel on the eggs to keep them from drying out. The big day is this Friday. I am expecting EE, Americaunas and Olive Eggers. There are 18 eggs in the incubator, I think one might have quit. I hope to get a few. My girls are so excited and can't wait.

Mine are due this Saturday, I'm so excited but really nervous!! I candled them for the last time today, 7/8 are developing well and moving around! My broody hen is so moody, but once they have hatched I'm sure she will be much happier

Two of my eggs hatched. Yay!!! 2 days early. I wasn't expecting them until this Friday. Five more eggs got little cracks on them. Can't wait to see them, too.

Question for those who hatch eggs before.

This is my first hatch. The chicks come 1 and 2 days early. I know more or less what I need to do for them. But what about the chicks? What do I expect of them? Mine just wobbling around and peck on each other and sleep and sleep and sleep. Is not normal?

Daddy is a Buff orp the moms are White Rock, Buff orp and several EE momma's from my own coop.

the hatch due on the 19th are from eggs I bought from my daughter Grace Jr.... she has a few fancier birds than me... She gave me a list but I am too lazy to look for it this second and have not committed to memory yet what kind of chicks I should be getting from her eggs other than her WR, BO and EE's...

The Delaware x Buff Orpington eggs that I set under our broody BO Sissy hatched yesterday! Right on schedule!

Four had already hatched yesterday morning, the 5th had hatched by noon, and a 6th egg, which is a mystery because another hen snuck it under Sissy after we had set her, hatched later in the afternoon. Here are a few pictures...

The Mystery Chick

My guess is it is from either a Barred Rock or a Black Star hen. Our only Rooster is a Delaware, so that is the Daddy. Any thoughts?
