Anyone ever buy eggs off ebay

So far the 1s I had gotten from ebay paid or 8 and got 10 and 8 are progressing.So far so good knock on wood.

I bought some and almost none hatched. I bought sultan eggs and all hatched 12 hatched!!! I also bought some lavendar Americauna eggs and I just had to put one pullet down because of what the vet called a progressive joint disorder caused by nutritional problems in the generation before her. Now, when I buy eggs on Ebay, I look for eggs from people who have included websites of their farm. I don't mind when I get a poor hatch but I felt sorry for that little pullet. I have had excellent luck with sultants, though!

I will put my eggs on cam & give the link out in all posts about silkies. I have them in a home made incubator. Hoping to get alot of these

Very un-possible for none to hatch unless your temp or humidity is wrong!

I would think it has alot to do with who is shipping them, but another element you have to take in consideration is how the post office will treat the package, that is out of your hands and the shippers. Good luck with you hatch!!

out of 41 shipped eggs, 23 are good, 13 on lockdown. so i guess thats a good percentage good

2 days is way to early to tell but give it 7 days & you will be able to see progress if any in eggs! Good Luck!
