Anyone ever tried freezing their ducks eggs?

I am going to freeze some of my chicken eggs, glad I have 3 dozen in the frig. because today I only got 2 eggs. Them girls are slowing down.

Can't chicken eggs last up to 7 months in the fridge if you don't wash the bloom off of them? I thought I read that somewhere where they did a study. Yep found it, it was on Mother Earth. Would freezing them just be to take up less space?

I started "hoarding" my chicken eggs a few weeks ago to prepare for winter. We have a "wet bar" fridge I store them in so my regular fridge isn't taken over. I think I have 6 dozen and I'm still getting 1/2 dozen a day. The new family joke when we are preparing our grocery list is "don't forget the eggs!"
