Anyone expecting on May 10th....

Chilis 6 eggs are due on the 13th!!!! Coals are due the week after that. Their both expecting RIR & BSL chicks. I candled the eggs last wensday and all 11 are fertil!!!!! I can't wait.

Please let ALL 11 hatch!!!

I am so impatient! Today is day 21. If you go by the time I put the eggs into the bator, day 21 will start tomorrow afternoon...

I so hope my two eggs hatch.

I can't wait to put in the 26 eggs I have on the counter waiting.

yes and it depends, i hear mine a few hours before they hatch.

THe first time i heard mine i thought i was so excited to get babies that i was hearing things - it was ten at night - about midnight i had 6 babies that chirped so much that i could not sleep so I st uck the whole incubator in my closet on a shelf, closed the door and put a towel to cover the bottom of the door and went to sleep.

lol are you serious? you can actually hear them that much? I was expecting maybe on the last day, hold your ear up to the egg and maybe hear a tiny peep.. lol

Oh lord, I have had them cheep for DAYS.

Then there was the vastly-staggered, disaster hatch that lasted ten whole days. I don't advise having to listen to that for almost two weeks. People seem to think a couple of days is bad and get impatient. I had 1-3 poults or chicks hatching every two or three days for the entire period. I'm still tired.

LOL So of course, both bators are full. Hey, spring doesn't last forever.

Tomorrow is the big day. I just checked on my 11 bbs silkie eggs and I have 5 pips. Woot! I have 40+ more eggs to go then I promise to stop. Well that is only if I don't have any broodies.
