I think there is enough evidence myself, the car, the internet searches, the smiley face on the duct tape(and there was no real indication that the duct tape or the smiley face were on the mouth, the body was too decomposed to indicate that for sure). Her acting like an idiot when she was partying.
None of these things are sufficient to convict a person of murder. Not individually, and not all together.
Especially a smiley face sticker.
If the above were sufficient then 90% of the United States would be guilty of murder.
The above are things the prosecution trot out when they got nothin'. They try to pander to the public's emotions and hope they can convict her on character, emotions, etc.
I'm puzzled as to what people feel, actually think 'evidence of murder' really means. It doesn't mean you dislike the person or they act uncaring or they are a jerk.
I think the girl is as guilty as the day is long, but a good many people don't get convicted of crimes they commit because there simply is not adequate proof. This is a country of laws. We don't break our laws simply because it serves the purpose of the moment or answers someone's emotional feeling. Jerks and rude people and bad mothers all get dealt with under the same laws as everyone else.
No, I'm not talking about a video. I mean anyone saw her or her relative in the area, where the body was disposed of, around that time. The child's DNA is in the trunk of her car. She indicated clear intent to someone. She confessed secretly to someone. She injured the child seriously on prior occasions.
