I know it's not funny, but you just reminded me of the scene in Finding Nemo where the seahorse says, "I'm H2O-intolerant. ACHOO!"

I am celiac and several of my siblings are too, including my twin sister. I post alot of recipes on the recipe part of BYC. It certainly is a challenge. The other day I ate a couple of pieces of pizza and was blown away on how bad I felt, like a black cloud enveloped me and all of that. Did I feel like that all the time prior to giving up gluten??

My husband was dx 3 yrs ago and has the same reaction to gluten. It's awful! Before he was dx he was to the point of having night sweats and terrible stomach cramps and other issues. He was also having symptoms of liver problems as well (very high lft levels) to the point the Dr. asked him if he was a heavy drinker - dh drinks a rum and coke about twice a year. Once he went gf all of his symptoms went away over the course of a month. I think the thing he hates the worst is if we go out to eat he makes sure to tell them his GF status and eats things that are on the GF menu and almost always still gets sick due to negligence or cross contamination. His mood is also really crappy after he gets glutened as well....

takes him about 3 days to recoup from being glutened.....

That's one of the big down sides, IMO. I always assume I feel like crap after going out somewhere new. I do have a few go-to places, however, that are pretty much always safe.

Have you tried corn noodles? The rice turn to mush but my daughter loves the corn noodles.
