Some people do bring stuff just to sell and some put signs on the cages after the show if they want to sell them. So if its not too far to go for you, its a GREAT fair. They have alot of craft vendors and its VERY old fashioned compared to most of what you find today at fairs.

Thanks so much. We live less than 30 minutes from Bolton so I try to get to that fair every year. It is such a wonderful NE fair and truly has something for everyone. Although, we're going to put that theory to the test this year and bring my Brooklyn raised mother-in-law, who has become very attached to her crazy daughter-in-law's backyard chix!

The Big E is poopoo. It used to be great. Last year they had no chickens. Small
town fairs have more. Plus it is so darn crowded I wouldn't go anywhere near it.

The Durham fair is a small version of the Big E and is in 2 weeks. A few of us are meeting
up there and Perfectly_Polish is showing some birds.
