Anyone hatching 20th or 21st? Hatch with me!!!

I have a couple eggs rocking in the bator tonight! They're not due until Tuesday night, so it looks like they are right on schedule!

Temp is stable and humidity running about 65%. Gonna be a stressful couple of days!

I have 12 Orpington eggs from TuffOldhen due on the 19th or 20th. My first hatch. I was hearing peeping coming from the eggs yesterday.

ok my eggs are out of the turner and i am trying to get my humidity up. it is at 44% so i just added more water. my americaunas are due to hatch the 20th and the BR on the 21st. did hurt the eggs by opening the incubator to put water in? i tried to be as quick as possible but i hear you should not open the bator after day 18. also when u all say the eggs rock is it a very visible rock? how long do they rock for? i keep watching mine and i swear they slightly move but then i think it is my eyes playing tricks on me or me just wishing they are moving. i am a nervouse wreck!

chickenpicken... it doesn't hurt to open that bator for a few seconds. Just keep an eye on your humidity. I've had to open mine more than once, but humidity is fine and staying between 60-70%.
As for movement, some of the eggs are visibly rocking at times, others I see no moment at all, though I know the eggs are developed. Guess you just have to be looking at the right time. I was peering in the bator last night and one egg I swear "jumped". Scared the daylights out of me!

Just checked some eggs 37 and they are all no good. Did not develope.

Sueg... were your eggs shipped? Tell us more details. Were you having problems with temp spikes? I'm curious to know why out of 37 eggs, none developed. Your bad experience can be a learning experience for all of us. I'm really sorry.

Have two "rocking"!!! So excited. Thought the two days in the mail truck at 90 degrees might have done them in. The other 12 aren't doing anything though. I never re-candled, so really don't know what to expect. Today is day 18, but I turned off the electric turner anyway. Is that okay or should I turn it back on?
