The post office must be really on top of it because my Sassy Silkies eggs were shipped on Saturday and arrived today also. (Thank you jenlynn4!!
) They look great, gotta love it when you get well packaged eggs.
...I think we've all got Silkie fever!
Also, the second egg hatched and looks good!
The three remaining eggs are all pipped so hopefully they'll be ready to go soon!

Let's hope they are on top of it the rest of the week! And are super gentle with the eggs!!
why why must my parents always say i'm doing things wrong?i'm not a little child anymore and i have done my research and been talking to all of yall on here about incubating and lockdown. this time istead of incubation meathods i was useing its now "you are supposed to turn them during lockdown oh well none of them will hatch" this is all i have been getting from my parents that my eggs will not hatch. temp has been a steady 99-100 and the humidity during incubation was 35-50 depending on the air cells and what they needed and now in lock down its around 70-75.
am i really doing anything wrong? geesh it gets so depressing when this is all you get from your family while incubating
I stop turning my eggs on day 18! My humidity can reach 70% durning lockdown and pipping! I'm sorry your family is being nonsupportive to you
out of the eggs they incubated, i have no clue how many though, i think they had 5 hatch. out of my 18 that were shipped 9 look promising and the 3 marans i also put in look promising to which makes me think that they are jeolus of me having more promising eggs in lockdown than they did
but it still doesnt mean that they cant be supportive
sounds to me like your doing everything right, though, I agree with Melissa, you should stop turning when you go into lockdown, this lets them start getting into postion to hatch. Good luck!!!
