I'm going to collect eggs for 5 days and then put them in my bator....sooo excited!

they are mutts! The roo is a Blue laced red wyandottes and the hens are red sex-links, buff orps, buttercups, Black austs, GLW, americauna, and i have a few BLRW hens but they aren't laying yet

i know i can't wait either!!!! they will look very interesting! This is m first chicken hatch and i'm trying hard. i already threw out 2 eggs b/c i put them in too early

so i'm taking all the advice i can get!!!!

YAY!!! Hubs just told me my speckled sussex has hatched!!!!

No other pips yet though.

Yes, my hatch date was actually Sunday, they just started pipping this morning though, my temp was unsteady at first I think is why they are late. I have 6 Delewares, 3 Speckled Sussex and 1 silkie. 1 speckled sussex just hatched,

Yes it will be a long 21 days, I remember my first hatch, I thought it was the longest 21 days of my life,
