Anyone hatching on 20/21st August?

I wonder if candeling is having a negative effect. I just hatched 4 out of 7 Barred Rocks but when I candled on day 12 I had 6 live chicks. I gave up today on day 23 and cracked them open and it looks like the 2 that were good when I candled gave it up right after that. Well I'm calling it a hatch. Grand total was 10 out of 11 Barred rocks hatched. 8 Hens and 2 Roos. I'm on fire.

Life is good. They are all doing great. Now the Girls have slowed down laying again. Good thing I did it while I did it.

Although, I found my batam necked neck has 6 eggs under her and she has gone broody. I wondered why I hadn't seen her yesterday. I never thought to look. Soooooo, now I have a broody to do her job. Chicks, chicks and more chicks.

I ended up with only 7 Welsummers

had 30 eggs I never candled them so not sure how many developed will check a little later today.

My 4 Barred Rocks arrived on the 20th and 21st. Yesterday and today 5 of my buff orpingtons hatched. Looks like that's going to be it and I'm putting the incubator away for the rest of this year.
