I have a pip!!! Egg #25...one of my Seramas

I've been holding my breath on them because I know how difficult they can be to hatch. I have 2 in the incubator and 1 under my broody.

My son chose #25 in our egg lottery so he's doing the happy dance, lol

Congrats!!!! Can't wait to see pictures of all our babies

I woke up to a little yellow Serama (anyone know what color it will be?) this morning

and 4 more eggs pipped. One is pipped in a weird place, kinda the middle of the egg with a piece of the shell missing already, so I'm a bit nervous about that one (will try really hard not to help!) but excited about my 1 baby and anxiously awaiting more today!

Nothing under my broody yet....

Hey......I just realized that today is the 5th...(duh?!?! sometimes submitting facts to my brain is like using dial-up internet, sometimes it takes forever....somedays you always get bumped off line....sometimes the remote server does not respond..you know

Anyway...I have 8 Welsummer eggs set to hatch today.

Hooray for everyone having little babies today!!!

I am waiting patiently... or so I think I am anyways... so far nada! Maybe I miss counted the days? Or maybe the weather is evil and won't allow my hatch to happen this fine freezing January.

Poor silkie mama's have been broody since November and want to be mama's so bad!!!!!!!

Here is the first photo of my little Serama baby this morning

Sorry it's blurry...lights and incubator are not the best for photo quality, lol. No name yet....I'm waiting for my friend on Facebook who won my egg lottery to tell me what she wants to name her

I'm just thrilled to have a Serama! My other Serama egg is rocking so I'm hopeful I'll have another one

Right now, I have 5 others pipping too.

**Edited to say she has been named Alida, which means small and winged
