Anyone hatching on the 27th?

I was thinking the same thing. I have had problems even getting the favorolles to pip. The three gold laced cochin bantams just popped right out of the eggs but not the favorolles.
The orpXgiant cochin popped out too (literally) He just shoved his foot out first. Scared the daylights out of me as i was afraid he would suffocate since his beak wasn't out. I did take the shell off that one.
BTW I was emailing an experienced breeder this morning and she said that too high humidity as well as too low will make the chicks stick and in the case of too high, the chicks will be sluggish after they are hatched.

I had one pip in my golden cuckoo marans eggs when I left this morning. Today is day 21.

28 to 3 hours is a very long time to have pipped. Eventually I think they dry out even if the humidity is OK.
Why is he still in the shell? Give him time and good luck. I hope he makes it.
My five from the last hatch are doing well and running around with the other 23 chicks that I had shipped to me on Monday.
Much more fun to hatch but much more frustration too.

Well, I sat him back in just the bottom part because there was some blood. So I left him in it and laid him back down. Glad to hear that yours are doing so good!

That's probably a good thing. Sometimes if you aren't careful you can pull their insided out.
If he is breathing he will probably be OK.
