Anyone have a chicken that coughed ongoing? No meds seem to work.

Got her a few months ago and she came with this cough. Was able to kick it for a few weeks with oxytet but it then returned and nothing else has kicked it, including Tylan, baytril and also used vet rx. also has open beak esp when stressed or running. So since we can’t seem to cure her, can she just life this way? Or will she absolutely get worse and be unable to breathe and suffer? Has anyone had a hen that coughed and didn’t worsen over time or do they all get sicker? It’s been months with this cough.
Note- she’s currently eating and drinking very well and runs around with her flock perfectly. I’m just wondering if it’s possible this is just incurable but not ultimately fatal

first a few questions. any blood in poop? can you show pics of her poop? is she gaining weight? does she have any other symptoms like hiding from other chickens, have you quarentined her from being around other chickens? is there any liquid in her nose? what is the conditions she lives in? fresh water daily? answering these should help with diagnosis.
any other information can help.

poop pics can aid too so post them up!

looking at her pictures, she don't look sick BUT that don't mean she is not sick, try looking down in her mouth and see if there is legions(discolored bumps) or perhaps bloody spots.
I would take her to an avian vet because this could be some genetic problem or internal defect or even an infection that is antibiotic resistance. the vet will need to do tests on her blood and other tests to make sure of the cause. she is a cutie and I hope you can get her help asap. but from the information provided it is going to be hard to know what the issue is.

She’s already had two rounds of corid for coccidiosis. That was a few months ago. No bloody poop since. Acts perfect. No lethargy at all. No spots in her mouth. We have looked at least 20 times with different flashlights and at all times of day.
no nasal discharge. No sneezing. Just thecough and open beak On and off. She gets fresh water every day and lives with her sister and two other hens in a coop I clean daily. She never hides and is always active. Thank you!

I just wonder if she can just live a normal life with a Cough or it will ultimately worsen and kill her :(

It all depends on what is causing it. Find an Avian vet near you so they can test her and find a diagnosis. with a diagnosis from a vet would be best so you know and are not stressing over it.

It really sucks when our chickens get sick I won't lie it can get worse and yes some chickens die. this is something that happens alot in the chicken world. but it will be ok. my advice is goto an avian vet asap. they can test her blood etc.
