Anyone have a delivery from Meyer this week?

Has anyone had a delivery from Meyer this week?

My son ordered 25 brown layer pullets, and already we have lost 15!!! (received them yesterday morning)

I received an order from Mcmurray the day before and all those are doing great... strong as oxs! No deaths.


he is devastated! He cannot understand why mine are doing great and his are dropping like flies. They are kept in the same style brooder (they are not together), with the same lighting, same temp. exact same set up. I am taking care of both sets, so its not something he is doing (or not doing)

Different locales, different Post Office trucks, different transfer points, and different PO crews.

Story after story, sadly, has been posted about this issue all month long. With a major snow event happening about every three days, across the county, poor chicks can get stuck in an unheated truck while snow storms delay moving on a timely fashion.

Very sorry for the losses.
