Anyone have a hobby that doesn't involve yarn and sewing?

I've seen that before, and it is very beautiful! I'm sure I would totally suck at it, I can't do anything 'intricate' with my hands!

Well I certainly didn't start out with the intricate stuff

I was always crafty, had no idea that I would develop a talent for anything though. It takes a lot of practice and can be very frustrating but it's one of those hobbies that gives my mind a workout and also a rest from the everyday craziness. It's kinda of a zenlike feeling, sounds corny but it totally relaxes me and I zone out big time. My husband told me the other day I must be in "egg world" when I didn't answer him

I have started making jewelry. It's so fun and relaxing to me. Go to Michael's or Hobby Lobby and get some beads (just enough for the necklace you want to make) and go to town. It's easy. You need a 3 in 1 tool (to crimp, to cut, and bottle nose), crimp beads, a finding (to close necklace), and maybe a pendant if you want one. I love it. I make beaded jewelry and christmas ornaments too..when I have time after the yarn and sewing hobbies are put down, loL!!

Those eggs are absolutely stunning, really very beautiful work there!!
