Anyone have a solution

Burt's Bees hand creme or any other creme made with beeswax (Thistledew Farm is a great one but I can get Burt's locally).

I always get laughed at when I post my home remidies, but I use crisco and cotton gloves whilst sleeping. Working in a hospital with the constatnt hand washing and being outside hunting, trapping, choring, and what not takes it's toll.

I think there are really lots of remedies to use out there. But more importantly is frequency. I keep lotion in my car, purse, by the sinks (all of them), next to my recliner. Use it often.

Emu oil
it has been the ONLY thing to help my hands. My skin on my fingers used to actually split because it gets so dry. A friend that works outside year round told me to get some. I did and will never go back. The bees wax cream I now use on my lips. It is good, but not as good as the oil

Emu oil! Where do you get it? Health food stores or organic stores?

Two suggestions -

First make sure your soap has a mosturizer in it too.

Second, Try Lansinoh Lanolin. You will find it in the baby isle - it is used my nursing mothers and is an excellent mosturizer without the greasiness of other products.

Gob lotion on your hands, I mean tons of it. Then sleep with socks or gloves on your hands. You might want to do this for a couple of nights in a row. If you get irritated, and rip the gloves off in your sleep, (not that I ever do this..

) it will still do a pretty good job. Good luck!
