Oh Peanut Butter is a sweetie too. Yesterday when I entered the Chicken Run to give them some cucumber clippings, she flapped up and landed on my arm.

Mine started crowing at 4 months or 16 weeks. The roosters grow longer saddle feathers down their neck & back around 14 weeks. This one doesn't seem to have them. ( yet?) Also their tail feathers get longer and curl over, where the hens tail feathers sort of make a crown. If you knew the breed you could look at roo's to compare. As a guide, my rooster started crowing right around the time the hens started laying. Here's the rooster and hen at 16 weeks.
I had a game bird with pretty much the same face.
