Thanks so much guys do you know if a buff orpington rooster and rhode island red hen mix is sex linked? One of my chicks has red strip down back the other doesn't

I don't know, but at one week ta hen will have really long wings and a rooster will have short wings, another method is to hold them on their backs and if they don't stop kicking they are a rooster, if they do stop kicking they are a hen
