Anyone have chicks due around Nov. 5th?

final count of 30 eggs..27 hatched one died and 3 failed. It was way too many for the 2 hens so I pulled in 12 to brood inside and left each of them with 7 here are a couple of pics.

I have GOT to get some pics of my little chicken family! You guys are showing me up!

Aww how cute!!

Update: Minnie and Poppi are doing well, along with their babies. We lost one baby though, just disappeared.

Don't know how it could have though, it was under its mommy when I "tucked" them in at night.
I'll try to get pictures soon. I've been so busy. Oh! Forgot to tell you all! My D'uccle chicks hatched! I have four healthy happy babies! And one baby who was born blind. Her name is Hope.

I'll post pictures of her tomorrow, after soccer.

Well my broody hen has hatched 1 chick so far.Its the cutest baby ever.Has to have both EE parents.has the cutest muffs and beard. S/he is red like a rhode island red.Soooo cute!

You remember the eggs that my #1 broody was sitting on? I had to pull 4 out because they were weeks behind the others and put them in the incubator. Well, I really thought they would die. To be honest I didn't pay them much attention. Today 1 hatched! He's a little grey chick and totally adorable!

He walks on his hocks, but is getting better with time and some vitamin water. I've been encouraging him to stand. I tried to put him with Mama just to see what would happen, but she pecked at him. I would put him under her tonight, but with him nto being able to walk very well and the other chicks being older, more developed, and bigger than him, I'm nervous they would hurt him.

A couple hours ago, though, I noticed a second egg was trying to hatch! My lonely little guy has been sitting by the egg, talking to his brother and encouraging him to come out and play. :)

Here they are.

Aren't they adorable? I can't wait to see the other one.

(S)h'es not as tiny as (s)he looks. I have no idea what breed they are. The already hatched one is part Easter Egger, but I have no idea what it's daddy is/was. The other could be anything. (S)he just sits next to the egg and peeps softly at it. He hasn't made any progress since I took the pic, but he's alive and moving around. From what I can see he's yellow. I'll post another pic as soon as he's out! :)
