Hoping I can get an quick answer..as I'm nervous and anxious. LOL!
I have eggs (ducks) that will be a week away from lockdown tomorrow. I've candled them and some look like they are taking up almost all of their egg already (But the air cell isn't slanting a whole lot yet) Then I have some others, that are a little bigger eggs, and they have quite a bit of space at the small end of them. Does that mean they are not losing enough moisture (is my humidity it too high)? Or will they grow into their shell and catch up? Also the #9 egg I waxed cause of the crack, the air cell in that one has slanted quite a bit but still a good amount of room for ducky to grow. And what do I do at time of hatch for the waxed egg? Take the wax off BEFORE lockdown? Wait until hatch and see how it does? It's not a lot of wax, just over the crack. I also don't want to crack it wide open picking the wax off. HELP?!?!?!
