Wow! That's a lot to keep track of. I have three Golden Campines. They are fun, they fly out of the run early in the morning, and do yard work all day. I will be setting some bantam silkie eggs next week. They should arrive on tueseday.
I will add to that the eggs my own chickens are laying, also bantam silkies.

They just started to lay so i don't think that there will be a lot.

Thats 15 i bought and at the moment i have four of my own chickens (one will be more then a week it's a week old today and one will be a week and a day). I hope to get four more, but they are young so will see what they do.

It will be my first hatch (in a incubator) for chicken eggs.

I hope all of your eggs wil be going steady and do well.

I gotta ask. How do you inject the dye? I saw a youtube video recently of multicolored turkeys at a farm that had been injected.

u candle the egg and mark where the developing yolk and veins are. then on the small end of the egg u make a small hole being carful not to crack the egg or hit any veins inside. once the whole is made u take a surenge and needle like a shot for an animal. fill it with as much food coloring as u think u need. put only the tip of the needle in the whole u made. and slowly inject the dye. then u close the hole with wax. eggs are looking good so far.

I hope all goes well and hope all ur eggs arrive safely to those who ordered eggs and hope every ones eggs make it to lock-down. This will be my 6Th hatch since September and Ive only had one bad hatch. that was my first hatch. to this of u who is hatching for there first time....If things dnt go as u wanted don't give up. ull learn what u did wrong if something does go wrong and u can improve that ur next hatch. i learned alot from each hatch. and every new hatch i get higher hatch rates. Keep posting everyone!!!!!! Love to hear about all ur bird eggs!! I had some quail eggs but there weren't fertile.

Thanks, I love my campines. I have 5 adults, 3 teenagers and 12 chicks at the moment. They are supposed to be flighty, but when I walk up to their run, they rush over to see what I've brought for them. If I reach into the fence to give them a treat, the rooster will jump four feet into the air to grab it from my hand.

Anyway, one more...........my New Hampshire eggs (15) I got from the auction arrived this morning and will be added to the incubator tonight!

i have 7 eggs due maech 5th and have 17 eggs due march 14th yay

got 14 silkies and 15 lakenvelders going in tomorrow morning So have 4 orps due to hatch on the 4th, 6 ducks for March 18th, and now 29 (1 cracked before I got it) for March 15/16

I just set 17 of my mixed flock eggs in my bator tonight. Mind if I join the hatch along? have some jb coturnix eggs coming in the mail and will add th when they get here as well as 6 BBS Orpington eggs that are being shipped on Monday...I just add as I go along..they hatch when they want and I never have a problem with staggering hatches like that. I have a LG incubator that I refuse to use the fan or turner in cause they always ruin the hatches. So I hand turn three times a day and keep a good eye on the temps and I get between 98 and 100% hatch rates this way

I just realized... I be on a retreat when the eggs are due to hatch! GAHHHH!!
