Anyone have eggs going in today July 1st?

I put new batteries in my little flashlight and just finished candling mine. Of the 30 pheasant eggs, 11 are definitely alive, 9 are definitely not alive and the other 10 have shells too dark to see much of.

The 8 chicken eggs are only at 4 days, but I see clearly see the little spider in 5 of them.

I'll candle again in a few days and see what's still growin.

that at least a few of the pheasants make it to hatch.

Good luck to everyone and keep us updated.

Today we did our first candling since arrival of our eggs, all but 2 are growing looks like 2 are infertile but we will check again on day 14. and one that had a hairline crack only seen with a flashlight I hot candle waxed it along the crack the day we got it so it wouldn't open and it has a growing embryo! And one with a loose airsac looks like it might be growing but those normaly don't make it we will see. Soo hopefuly we will have 10 healthy chicks crossing fingers!

black copper marans 12 eggs looks to have two infertile
our barnyard mix 5 eggs all are growing chicks

Candling update:

10 Polish X..3 duds,2 airsac not intact..2 moving,3 growing but questionable airsac
3 Silkie.........all 3 were not fertile
3 Bantam Cochin.....1 moving, 2 growing but questionable airsac
6 Seramas....2 infertile.....2 moving, 2 growing but questionable airsac
6 Indian Runner Ducks.....5 moving...1 not fertile

The duck eggs were local and all the chicken eggs were shipped.

If we put our eggs into the bator on July 1, does that mean that July 19th is day 18?
Mine are looking good too. The pheasant eggs are so cool with all of the veins and such. This has been really fun.
Yesterday, I went to the feed store and bought starter for the chicks and for the pheasants. Also one of the round feeders for a mason jar.
Now, I have to start building the the coop! Yesterday was 113 and today is going to be the same

Good luck all. Keep us posted!

Day 16 for my pheasant eggs. Started with 30-pulled 9 clears, have 13 definitely alive and 8 too dark to see what's happening.

Day 12 for the chicken eggs. Started with 8-have pulled 2 clears and 1 quitter, the other 5 are growing well.

Don't exactly know what I'm going to do with the pheasants that hatch. I originally thought I would give them back to the co-worker who gave me the eggs but it looks like she is finally going to be successful hatching her own. I don't have a set-up for pheasants and don't think I can convince DH to build me another coop/run.
