Things like that change a person. I am so sorry. I know it was years ago but .....![]()
I have a shirt that says “wicked chickens lay deviled eggs” but that’s the only chicken shirt I have. I NEED more!View attachment 1161636
I need this! LOL
For some reason the shirt made me think of my ringtone on my cell phone. I like it so much that I’d thought I’d share:

I actually got it for free on the link below since that is what worked for my blackberry:

I was a walmart the other day and they actually had packages of chicken feet in the meat section. I had to steer my daughter away so she wouldn't see them. She takes it personally. The Westside Market in Cleveland has a booth where they sell bins and bins of chicken feet. The first time I saw it I actually took a picture and showed it to my friends because I couldn't imagine who in their right mind would buy chicken feet and what on Earth you would do with them. Well know I know......Ugh![]()
IDK if you've seen it, but there's a story going on here about a turkey that fell off a truck, presumably, and this guy and his gf are caring for it.I lived in SE Iowa up until a few mo this ago. Going into town, it semed like I would always get behind a turkey truck carrying them them from a large commercial farm to the slaughter/processing plant. They all looked at me like they knew they were headed to their doom! I could almost hear them saying, “Help me...!” Now I picture them every time I go to buy turkey at the store and usually get something else.....I’m such a sucker for that kind of
I'm not sure how far this place is from you, or if it has what you're looking for, but I've been told about it be several different people. I've never been there, but it seems to be a good place to buy meat. It's in Southington. http://charlannefarms.com/4 listed...
Almost 4 hr drive, 2.5 hr drive, 1.5 hr drive and another 1.5 hr drive. That's a little far for a bi weekly grocery trip.
Thanks though. I'll mark that page and check back.
YES!!!!Taters & Boneless Chicken...perfect, lol!!
That's the same reason why I still have Odin (slightly aggressive cockerel). I know I wouldn't be able to eat him. I considered having him processed and donating him to a food pantry or something. He reminds me of an ornery teen who just likes to test you. We're very attached to our birds, though if we did get some for eating I like to think we'd keep our distance more and it would be all business, no holding and petting.I have moments with a troublesome teenage boy that make me think I might.
But if I'm honest with myself it will never happen.
We did the same thing when our birds were younger and some weren't laying yet. The boys would try and the girls would squawk and we'd start yelling at the boys. Leave her alone! No means no!Most recently in regards to my randy rooster. He gets a little frustrated with a girl and gets rough. I yell "No means No!" He just looks at me.
My daughter has a shirt that says Crazy Chicken Lady, but I can't find it online. I'll get a pic when I go home for lunch.View attachment 1161636

I had finally caught my buff orp cockerel crowing on video & showed a lady at work. It reminded her her gpa's farm from when she was a kid & asked if I could make her a ringtone of it, though I think it would be good to use for an alarm. My Mom has a recording of my chickens as my ringtone when I call. She said people starting looking around for live chickens when I call her.

Well, sadly it seems the turkey didn't make it.IDK if you've seen it, but there's a story going on here about a turkey that fell off a truck, presumably, and this guy and his gf are caring for it.
