I almost bought a pair of chicken leggings that kept popping up on my FB page, but my husband and BFF said NO. I did buy this shirt though.

:hugs
Things like that change a person. I am so sorry. I know it was years ago but ..... :hugs

I am so, so sorry, Stacey. The time numbs it a little but you never, ever, get over it.

My brother died in an accident 17 years ago at 34. It destroyed my mother to this day. My sister lost my sweet 17 year old nephew (hit by car) a year ago this month. I give her credit for putting on her clothes and walking out the door every day. My mom, she just gave up.

My condolences, love, and strength. You gotta keep going for those who are left Some days it's almost impossible. :hugs

For some reason the shirt made me think of my ringtone on my cell phone. I like it so much that I’d thought I’d share:

I actually got it for free on the link below since that is what worked for my blackberry:

My Mom has a recording of my chickens as my ringtone when I call. She said people starting looking around for live chickens when I call her. :lau

I have a shirt that says “wicked chickens lay deviled eggs” but that’s the only chicken shirt I have. I NEED more! :barnie:lau

I made a chicken a onesie for my niece. I need chicken shirts.

Geez... I miss a day and everything happens (except catching the hen!).
The Westside Market in Cleveland has a booth where they sell bins and bins of chicken feet. The first time I saw it I actually took a picture and showed it to my friends because I couldn't imagine who in their right mind would buy chicken feet and what on Earth you would do with them. Well know I know......Ugh:sick
I was a walmart the other day and they actually had packages of chicken feet in the meat section. I had to steer my daughter away so she wouldn't see them. She takes it personally.

I lived in SE Iowa up until a few mo this ago. Going into town, it semed like I would always get behind a turkey truck carrying them them from a large commercial farm to the slaughter/processing plant. They all looked at me like they knew they were headed to their doom! I could almost hear them saying, “Help me...!” Now I picture them every time I go to buy turkey at the store and usually get something else.....I’m such a sucker for that kind of
IDK if you've seen it, but there's a story going on here about a turkey that fell off a truck, presumably, and this guy and his gf are caring for it.

4 listed...
Almost 4 hr drive, 2.5 hr drive, 1.5 hr drive and another 1.5 hr drive. That's a little far for a bi weekly grocery trip. :tongue
Thanks though. I'll mark that page and check back.
I'm not sure how far this place is from you, or if it has what you're looking for, but I've been told about it be several different people. I've never been there, but it seems to be a good place to buy meat. It's in Southington. http://charlannefarms.com/
My daughter is *special* and some allergy testing came back that she was allergic to chicken (among other things that make one gasp) and we were eating a lot of turkey for a while and a woman I work w suggested going there to get turkey b/c it was freakin' expensive everywhere else.. we were basically eating a tgiving dinner ever 2-3 weeks.

Taters & Boneless Chicken...perfect, lol!!
YES!!!!

I have moments with a troublesome teenage boy that make me think I might.
But if I'm honest with myself it will never happen.
That's the same reason why I still have Odin (slightly aggressive cockerel). I know I wouldn't be able to eat him. I considered having him processed and donating him to a food pantry or something. He reminds me of an ornery teen who just likes to test you. We're very attached to our birds, though if we did get some for eating I like to think we'd keep our distance more and it would be all business, no holding and petting.

Most recently in regards to my randy rooster. He gets a little frustrated with a girl and gets rough. I yell "No means No!" He just looks at me.
We did the same thing when our birds were younger and some weren't laying yet. The boys would try and the girls would squawk and we'd start yelling at the boys. Leave her alone! No means no!

My daughter has a shirt that says Crazy Chicken Lady, but I can't find it online. I'll get a pic when I go home for lunch.

I had finally caught my buff orp cockerel crowing on video & showed a lady at work. It reminded her her gpa's farm from when she was a kid & asked if I could make her a ringtone of it, though I think it would be good to use for an alarm.
