Anyone have luck catching a feral chicken?? UPDATE: Rooster caught, no hen

My poop board is just under 3 ft from the floor. It has an edging around it that can be used instead of roost. I guess I may lower it tomorrow, or make a nice long ramp! Sesame does like the flat roost board, I may end up changing that too. I don’t know.

My son hasn’t felt great, but hasn’t felt bad either. His throat looked pretty red so I took him to the doctor. No fever! He has strep throat! And sinus infection. Mom of the Year! Right here!

Strep throat is sneaky. Sometimes it's just a little sore with a low grade fever, sometimes it's a high fever with vomiting to beat the band.
Don't beat yourself up.
You took him to the doctor, antibiotics are started....
The throat will feel better by this time tomorrow.

I was thinking the same thing for both of you. You got kiddo to a Dr and no-one starved.
More importantly you both noticed! Clearly you are there for your kids to know when something isn't quite right.

I make my son fix his own supper if he doesn’t like what I prepare. So most nights he eats Totino’s pizza

I’m not beating myself up. I don’t take him to the doctor for everything, only if things are not improving.

It happens! We used to have fend for yourself days, back when I worked 20 hours a day... I'd ask em what they ate and then just shake my head—but they both knew how to cook and there was no shortage of food.

I had strep throat alot growing up and ds has had his fair share too. And not once have we ever had it without a fever and feeling terrible. He has had days he hasn’t felt the best the past couple of weeks, but still went to school and made it until bedtime.
