Anyone have luck catching a feral chicken?? UPDATE: Rooster caught, no hen

Leave. The. Crust. Alone!!!!!

Like I tell my kiddos at school every day, "Do not pick that scab. Leave it alone. Scabs are Nature's Bandaids!!!!"

Now, go back to playing with your chickens, love up on your dog, and keep giving her her meds, till they are gone. And do not pick that scab!

It just seems so crusty and gross. Wasn't sure how much was scab and how much was just dried gook. I've left it alone. Been doing the wash and spray with meds in the am. Then another spray before I go to work.

It is looking better but god she's got meds for what seems like forever.

I'll keep going. I feel so bad. :( My poor girl.

It's so hard to see them hurt. And you can't make them understand that you are trying to help :( But it sounds like you are taking great care of your fur baby. Hang in there! :hugs:hugs:hugs

She will be fine. Tough love, sister. And the beauty thing is, those heal amazingly fast, you'll see. SO let nature (and the meds) do their thang. Trust me, I'm a vet (really). :)

And DO NOT PICK THAT SCAB.
