Anyone have luck catching a feral chicken?? UPDATE: Rooster caught, no hen

Late to the party, lol.

I have a notice my thread was moved but I had replied to someone else's thread. I got really confused especially when I didn't even remember replying. It was moved to fun games? Or something like that

Very strange..... Maybe not anything to worry about.

Welcome to the Squatch watchers continuing great thread.

@KikisGirls and other talking stomach acid. I was once told that acid reflux isn't always too much acid but lack of. Could be why the ACV works. To test, get a pH test kit and test your spit. A couple times at different times... will tell you if you have too much or not enough. :D
Sounds reasonable.

I was referred to an ENT with persistent ear and sinus drainage/post nasal drip. He said it was silent reflux!! LPR. I am a former GI nurse and have never heard of such.

I did a full leg check at close up.
It looks like just the one bantam has ugly legs. She has been molting and does look to have something going on with her legs. One Brahma has a few raised looking scales but always has had ugly feet. Not sick looking just ugly.

Everyone will be getting oiled up until that Cochin is all better.

Its not like oiling them will hurt if they are not affected.

@Sassysouth
I sure hope those babies arrive all ornery and spunky.

The only other weird thing is the remaining three tow yard chickens are refusing to roost. I pull them from the nest boxes and stick them on the roosts but by morning they are back in the boxes. Time to make covers for the boxes.
:barnie

@FlyingNunFarm
From my hours of reading about leg mites it seems once it gets bad it is really hard to cure.

I would treat your bird.

Some pics of it in the advanced stages are horrific.
I plan on it.

I wonder if Elector PSP does anything to them? I had treated the roosts and other wood surfaces with that not to long ago. For expensive as it is it should treat everything! LOL
