Strangely we never hear them. But they always turn up on the cams.

Yea, I kinda thought the same thing.

Still keeping up hope!

I didn't get any pics from when I turned the cam around so idk if the batteries died, or something blocked the sensor, or there was just NO activity where I pointed it.

I'll reset it in the next day or so.

Oh no! I hope it didn't get her. :( We had a chicken disappear that I had missed at bed time and we concluded that a coyote got her.

Have you been seeing them recently? Do y'all hear the ones by you?

Every now and then we will see one in the day time. It's always a little eerie. They're usually sick with something like distemper.

They'll be really skinny, staggering, and missing most of their hair.

We have seen coyotes too. We saw a dog about 3am every night for a while on our camera. Strange.

Y’all are cracking me up! And I did my chicken math wrong. I forgot some:barnie
My DH never goes to the coop, but had to when I went to Colorado for a week.

I need input!!! I have 5 Bantam Buff Brahma and 6 Silkies, they are all 2 weeks old. I have the opportunity to add in some Bantam Cochin’s. YES or NO??

I have read where they can be mean, but I spent time with some and those were so precious! I am so torn!!!

Buff’s were ordered and should be 4 females and 1 male. Silkies are straight run so i am sure I will have to get rid of some. I might out to get more in hopes of more females. The cochins would be straight run too.
Cochin are my favorite bantams
