Anyone have luck catching a feral chicken?? UPDATE: Rooster caught, no hen

Im new to this thread so been playing a lot of catch up for the past couple hours give or take have been very interested in the hunt hoping you actually catch her and the whole time I was reading the adventure I was thinking that other than sasquatch another name that would have fit along the same lines and its one that all of us louisiana natives are familiar with is the rougarou just like sasquatch no one has ever seen it but we hear the stories and some say they have heard it and swear that it exists

Chupacabra would also be a cute name for a hen

Nothing against millennialis, but I've never had anything in common with the stereotypes.

I've been at the same job for 16 years... I live in the sticks... I don't eat fancy avocado toast (although I'd probably like it)... I don't even watch TV... I do angrily tap my phone with no clear understanding of what I'm doing in effort to operate it.

I picked her up at Cedar Crest. She's already laying and they even hatched some of her eggs.
I had a laugh when she described her as a pistol. She walked right up to me and let me pick her up. Stunned she says "She didn't peck you? She tries to peck everyone." I even put her down and picked her back up. No pecking.
She had the name Frannie so I dubbed her St Francis.

They could be! I can see she'll hold her own with the others but she was the sweetest with me. Sat in my lap for 20 min earlier just letting me pet her. Started to preen herself a little.

Also, I've been poking around trying to figure out what color ole Mr. Squatch is.

To me he looks very similar to the splash black copper Marans color, so would that be blue/black copper splash?

It was the only color pattern that I found that had red, white, blue, and black in it.

Mille fleur (mottle w/ red) was similar but he doesn't have the sharp black next to distinct white spots and I didn't see an example of Mille fleur or mottle that had both black and blue in the feather patterns.

He is more of a splash pattern over flower pattern.
