Tuscan Salad with herb infused dressing

Ingredients:

Salad:

Head of romaine lettuce
Bunch of baby spinach
20 basil leaves chiffonade
Cherry or Grape tomatoes
4 oz Roasted Pine Nuts
Can of Cannellini Beans rinsed
Kalamata Olives (optional)
Red Onion
Red/Orange/Yellow Peppers
Diced Pancetta or Prosciutto (optional)
1 Cup grated or shaved italian cheese (Parmesan, Romano, Asiago)

Dressing:
½ Cup Olive Oil
4 cloves garlic, crushed and minced
¼ Cup loosely packed Basil
⅛ Cup loosely packed oregano
¼ Cup loosely packed flat leaf parsley
¼ Cup lemon Juice or Balsamic Vinegar (I’ve also used Raspberry, wine, and Champaign vinegars)
Pinch of Salt
And pepper to taste
Red Pepper Flake (optional)

Make the salad and toss well.

Put the oil and garlic in a cold pan and then turn on a medium low heat. You’re steeping the garlic and you don’t want it to brown. Just as the garlic starts to turn color, take the pan off the fire and add the herbs and spices and stir well. Let it steep about 15 minutes, then remove the herbs and add the lemon or vinegar. Wisk well and once it’s cool, toss with the salad to coat and adjust seasonings as necessary.

Ok. Odd question.
I have 6 chickens.
2welsummers
1australorp
3buffs.

Each of them has something identifiable about their eggs.

Egg count so far today is 4.
And Rosie (welsummer) is in the nest right now "thinking about" making a mortgage payment....

I understand how the egg production process works and the 26-27 HR rule...
But....

Is it possible my australorp (Margaret-Tate) could have laid two eggs today?
Because there are two that look like hers and I have checked the nests several times today starting at 7:30 am, so I know it wasn't a leftover from yesterday.

Or did one of the buffs lay an egg and forget to put the "color" on it?!?

Yep those things my wife has the same problem. I always ask her what she got stuff for she just says what if we need it some day.
