Oh, on the subject of friendly chickens, while mine don't like being held or touched, they call come running to swarm around me when I yell "Chick, chick, chick, chicky" because that usually means treats. My son (15 months old) thinks it is funny to watch 35-40 chickens come barreling in my direction. He now calls chickens "chick, chick" whether he sees them in real life or pictures of them. I also have a similar call for cats "ki, ki, ki, kitty" so he has taken to calling cats "kiki". Well for a while he was calling dogs "git" we couldn't figure out why. Then I realized it is what we would say to my parents' overly friendly dog when she would try to jump up on him and lick his face. "GIT" Now he calls them "dog, dog" which is more accurate, but less funny.
