Anyone have luck catching a feral chicken?? UPDATE: Rooster caught, no hen

My almost 10 month old niece loves pictures and videos of the chickens. When the roosters crow she makes a big surprise face then smiles from ear to ear. When you ask her what the rooster says (sometimes) she says 'ka du" for chicken she makes a "buk" sound.

When she came to my house to see them in real she just stared wide eyed. Then clapped in the car on the way out the drive. LOL

Hubby has taken to spoiling the chickens. Walking back into the house, he said something about running speakers out to the coop and playing them classical music. I turned to him and said, *You know what classical musician you have to play for them, right?*... he says, *No. Who?*......... Without missing a beat I said..

I know someone who swears his hens lay more eggs because he plays them classical music. Mine are so noisy I don't think they'd even hear it.

You can still watch her, in a coop, on the squatch cam! But I am still waiting for the first glimpse of the mythical beast!
