Five-year-olds do seem to have more fun. I am retired, second childhood is allowed!

I have been that "crazy bird lady" my whole life. The one in the neighborhood that people bring the found sparrow chicks, lost cockatiels, even lost chickens! It beats sanity any day, if sanity is what we see around us!my brother came to visit for the first time since I have chicken, this time around...

I talk to my chickens & I take care of dead people (sometimes I talk to the). I'm completely normal, in my world
I can't do it either. Years ago my SIL raised some chickens for meat. She asked me to go along with her for moral support when it came time to take them to be processed. We both cried the whole way there....when we got there the guy who owns the place though we were nuts. When it came time to pick them up the guy had a sympathy card for us.
What a smart a**. But we did get a good laugh about it
