Wow!

spring and fall. local ag folks thought it would help with aphids so they released millions of them across the state. Don't know where the stink bugs came from.

I LOVE Reggie and Molasses! I believe Molasses is the prettiest (or handsomest) black Cochin I have seen.

He is a very pretty boy. He is the daddy of the chicks I posted pics of earlier. I hope they are as pretty as he is.

My grandpa who grew fantastic roses used to go around and pinch their heads off with his thumb nail then drop their bodies in a soup can of gasoline. LOL

Oh wait, these are not the ones I was thinking of. I was thinking of the lady-bug looking beetles. I've not had these yet.

We have found a few assassin bugs, though.

My great grandma (from Alabama) used to tell me about her grandma that used to treat ear infections by squeezing Bessie bug innards into her ear and she said it worked every time.

Y’all! I want to bring the really small cochin inside and cuddle her for a little bit, but I am afraid that would make her a target. A couple of the Brahmas don’t like her around them, especially when she is wanding aimlessly for someone to crawl under. I nuzzled her under the neck of my shirt a couple times today. What do you think?
