I got them from a client about two months ago she gave me a leghorn because she was to loud for her neighborhood and Malinda wasn't supposed to have chickens hoa rules. Well the other day she got a letter from her hoa saying she can't have chickens and asked if I would take them for her :( she was sad and cried. There names are Lucy wyandotte and Samantha EE
So sad for her! :hitScore for you.

When we were looking at houses last year, we definitely didnt want an HOA for that reason. Too many rules & busy bodies.

Our town has a 3 hen rule but our neighbors don't really follow that. 2 neighbors definitely have a rooster & 1 neighbor has over 20 hens. Our neighborhood used to be farmland so I think people still have more of that attitude, even though we're technically a suburb. :bun

Is that the OMG!!!! An inch of SNOW!!!!! The world will end if we don't get bread and milk!!!!! Panic there?
Absolutely!!! We think the meteorologists predict “snow flurries” to clear the milk and bread isle. Hahaha! And they sand the roads, because that does a lot of good??? Seriously, we might get stuck in the house for 3 days.

Nobody close to me has chickens. The people I know who have them, they don’t have a connection with their chickens. They aren’t crazy chicken people.

I have six because I wanted four but everyone I talked to said get one or two EXTRAS "just in case". Lol.

And THIS, suddenly dawned on me!!!!!
I get such a kick out of all of you talking about your "chicken math" but always say to myself that doesn't apply to me because I am so fortunate to have what I have....
And then....
BINGO!
I STARTED with chicken math in the very beginning!

Now I suddenly feel, realty and truly like one of the group! Lololol

EXACTLY what happened to me!! We went to TSC for 6(!!!) chickies. Worker there said get a couple extra cause some would most likely die. BANG, we started out with 8 FlufferButters. Went back for 6 more.. BANG.. got 8 again.... (3 died though)... that's how we now have 5 Littles. Get a handful of eggs for Xena cause she's broody... BANG...... 7 Nuggets.... and the broody Xena made me want to incubate some my own darn self and... BANG.... I have 15 eggs in a brooder....

Hello... my name is Deila... and I.. am addicted to Chicken Math.....
