Anyone have luck catching a feral chicken?? UPDATE: Rooster caught, no hen

No oil... it's a powder mix of different herbs, like milk thistle, st johns wort and the like. We just started it actually, so not sure if it's *helping* yet or not. Haven't gotten him into the vet yet as he's not *officially* ours yet...... we took him home for a test drive, totally hated him (although kiddo loves him), rescue ownder said give it a little more time, we ended up taking him with us to FL for a 36 hour trip, ended up forgetting his meds, mixed a few things up, noticed he was an ANGEL off his meds, he did very VERY well... up until he had 5 seizures within a 1.5 hour period (that scared me and the kiddo TO DEATH), put him back on his full dose... he returned to dooch nozzle status, dropped him down to half doses and the herbal supp, he's only half dooch now... and I can tolerate that!!!

PICS!!!!!!!

Ours is a manufactured home, built in 2001, with the TACKIEST old lady border in each room. Biggest problem now is the damn border... it was put up on unpainted wall, so the paper can't be MOISTened to peel it off..... ugh

Ha Ha Ha I meant cannabis. After several family memebers came down with serious cancer I started doing some research. I've seen it used in animals...they aren't high.

OK so who wants to live closer to rjohns????

I know I do!! Dang I would just hang outside the house like a creepy stalker soaking up all the yummy cooking smells!!

LOL but then we would have to change our name to the rjohns watchers! Which doesn't have quite the same ring to it haha
Seriously though I need to remind myself to eat a snack before I read your posts @rjohns39! Everything you make sounds amazing!

Never thought about that! I wish KY was a CBD oil state, but it isn't. pisser.

I tried.... damn:p

We recently adopted Buddy, who is a 3 year old terror. He has epilepsy, so is on Phenobarbital. When he is on the prescribed dose, he pees and chits whenever and wherever he wants.... he acts like he's on crack... he paces and is food aggressive... we've taken to calling him the little dooch nozzle... sorry folks..... on NO eds... he is a wonderful little fluffy muffin that we adore... but has seizures like nobodys business..... so, we dropped him to a half dose of pheno and added an herbal supplement... so now he's 1/2 fluffymuffin and 1/2 dooch.
Our dachshund, who died last year at age 20, had epilepsy. He was diagnosed with it at age 5, so was on phenobarbital for 15 years! Not ideal to have a dog on it that long, but he did very well! The older he got and the longer he was on the phenobarb, the better he did. It would be great if yours could improve with herbal treatment, but if not, don’t lose hope. He may improve with time and having the right blood level of phenobarb in his system!
