They are beautiful! I have never heard of using Frontline on birds.Well here are some more pictures of my new birdies. I can't get them all to stay still at the same time.

However, it seems that the long car trip and new environment didn't bother the girls too much. Look what I found today. Unfortunately, it will be feeding my parents' dogs. I found out when I picked the birds up that the breeders use Frontline on the birds to keep them mite free. According to my research, it takes 8 weeks for the bulk of the chemical to leave their system and I don't want that in the eggs that I'm hatching for meat. The stuff in carcinogenic and even traditional CAFOs aren't allowed to use it. Honestly, if I had heard this tidbit and did my research before I got them, I wouldn't have bought them. But, I have them, they are beautiful and I'm going to work with what I got.

My grandparents raised me and my grandfather always liked to keep a “big footed” cat.Daughter's friend had a polydactyle cat, her name is Carl.
@getaclue and others who replied, WHICH KILZ? There's regular, premium, hide all and latex 2. I am thinking hide all or latex 2 would work best.
pitbullmomma.......this is for you!!
X2 sister, I had foot surgery in August for hallux limitus (big toe arthritis). Went barefoot and flipflops my whole life. Now I am a freak about my dorky orthopedic shoes. But they work.
I found this line called Alegria (online)which makes wonderful orthopedic sandals (and other shoes, boots, etc.) for a variety of foot issues. They are stylish, look better than Birkenstocks, and make my feet feel wonderful. They're expensive, but they always have sales going. I bought two pairs and are in love with them!!
So cute! I did not have one kid come to my house. So bummed! Now I have all this leftover candy I'll have to bring to work...
Especially from a husband!!!!!Thanks for clearing that up.
Someone is coming to buy Lemondrop Saturday! Until then he will be in a portable dog carrier during the day. He has it out for that poor Crele, and it just ain’t fair. My life would be about gosh darn perfect if everyone would do and act like I want them too. Like, don’t pick on each other, don’t potty in the house, don’t act dumb, listen and obey the first time told. I mean, really! That isn’t asking for too much.
Looks like you have a new kitty! Congrats!Well Kitty Kitty doesn't have a micro chip. BF was gong to ask neighbors after he gets home from work. I check local FB groups too but no luck.
Look up kuru they make special shoes for it very helpful for me footI will do anything before that. I met/read about too many people it doesn't help. I do wear the darn braces to bed when it starts flaring.
The biggest help for me has really been SHOES.
I threw away the custom made insoles and now wear sketchers "go walk" line.
They come in men's and women's. There have been 5 generations of them but Only certain ones work for me so if you're interested pm me and I'll tell you what to look for.
Also when I first get up in the morning ( don't even hobble to the bathroom in bare feet!) and when bebopping around the house I wear "OOFOS recovery" flip flops. The have a very high arch and do wonders! When you try them on in the store they feel weird. In one half day of wearing them , I promise they'll be broken in and bring you blessed relief.
I just checked their website and it appears they've branched into some other "recovery footwear" that aren't flip flops !
I will definitely be researching them!
She has certainly made herself at home. LOL She had to have been someone's cat. Way to friendly (currently purring in my lap), no bugs, clean teeth...Looks like you have a new kitty! Congrats!
