Anyone have luck catching a feral chicken?? UPDATE: Rooster caught, no hen

Hahaha! When I started staying at home with ds all I watched was Cupcake Wars, The Cake Boss and any decorating show I could find. Unfortunately, it will take me an entire day (or 2) to do anything. Mess up, redo, mess up, redo. Then there is the entire kitchen is a disaster!
Love cupcake wars and so glad Holiday Baking Championship is back . Woo hoo

Last night I started the first episode of LOST again.
I watched it when it first came out YEARS ago...
I have never rewatched something but I am going to try to rewatch Lost.
From what I remember it was that good.

Did you turn your clock the wrong way???
My clock is reading 6:20 and my gals went to bed loooonnnggg ago.
I haven't touched any clocks just yet.
It is 7:20 here.
I just fussed at the Mexican to change the oven and microwave clocks now.

Good morning. Having my first cup of coffee and watching the rain. Ugh....I wanted to finish winterizing the run today. Chance if snow ( she says in a whisper cuz if I don't say it loud it might not happen) this week
You say such horrible things.

All the work I did remodeling the coop is a complete nightmare. The roosts are too high, no one will use the ramps. I cannot reach around in there. I also realized after I started building the run, I forgot to angle the corners, but it is too late to start over. I am feeling a little defeated this morning, but whatever!!! And I am all swollen and puffy from eating Mexican last night. And my friend sent me pics from her wedding and I look like a big cow standing beside her. It doesn’t help my looks that she probably wears junior clothes, is tan, a personal trainer and 5’. I love food. What can I say?
I totally feel your pain on the remodeling. I lowered my roosts and fixed my poop board do to the pdz thing and the roost was too high. My poor bantam was sitting on it like she was thinking 'How the eff am I supposed to get down from here?', I lowered it, but they don't like that I took away one of their roosts. There was a lot of pecking going on. Are the ramps too steep? I had one no one would use and it was too steep for them to climb. I hope you get everything done in time! I'm right there w/ you about loving food. I look in the mirror and it's like wtf happened.. then I eat an entire pizza. A couple weeks ago a friend took a pic of me from behind and then uploaded it to fb and tagged me in it. I was like Really?

AAANNND to top off my lovely weekend my dog has some sort of injury on her neck and my rooster went after me in the coop. :barnie:hit:mad:
I blame the full moon on the roosters being jerks. Mine was a turd today after he was such a good boy yesterday. There's this puffy stuff the vet gave me once when my cat had been bit by something and had a good patch of his leg muscle exposed. He wouldn't quit licking it and it looked like raw hamburger. TSC has something similar, you just puff it on the spot. It's an antibiotic.. It could help if it's an infection. https://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/product/ideal-instruments-nfz-puffer?cm_vc=-10005

We keep our feed in totes with snap lids. Me and mice don't get along.
I have mine in a plastic trash can w/ a lid. It holds about 2 50lb bags.

Ok.....I have to share with all of you the cupcakes I made. I'm so excited that they turned out so well.View attachment 1179819 View attachment 1179820
Those are amazing! This is the bday cake I made for my tiny human this year. Normally we do penguins, but for some reason she recently became obsessed w/ chickens. I love seeing the things people come up with.
