Anyone have luck catching a feral chicken?? UPDATE: Rooster caught, no hen

Well $163 later.... it's a massive hot spot. Got a shot of antibiotics, antibiotics to take, a wash solution, and spray to use.

It took 3 of us to shave her neck. We still couldn't get it all. I'm hoping in a day or two the spot won't be as bad and I'll try to trim the fur some more.

Vet said with how thick her coat is the bacteria traveled super fast and made it impossible for me to see.

I'd get a picture but she's currently hiding from me.

At least it wasn't something more serious. I have a 17 year old cat and every time I take her to the vet I'm worried they'll tell me I should put her down. She was really sick in the spring, but those injected antibiotics are miracle workers! I hope she calms down some once she starts feeling better.

Cover up cake, with cutout decorations. Technically, it really is cheating.

IMO it's not cheating b/c you used other decorations so you were merely sticking w/ the same medium throughout.
It's really pretty! Is it fondant? I'm not brave enough to use fondant. What did you use to make the butterflies shiny?

I got 2/3 of the way finished my pressure washing project and the battery died so I guess I'm done til tomorrow.

But I had this funny thought while I was out there.
Wouldn't it be hilarious if like, months from now @theuglychick 's hen showed up after all?!?

It's really pretty! Is it fondant? I'm not brave enough to use fondant. What did you use to make the butterflies shiny?

This is what I use. I have small bags that I tint with different colors and my son likes to use it like Playdoh and then eat it. It taste pretty good too. I use a small paint brush and dust on the shimmer.

That stinks! I don’t know if I can get the run finished enough for Sesame tomorrow, but I am going to try!!! A WalMart run will put me behind this evening.

It's Monday, so I think most people are working today. I work from home. Fortunately, today was REALLY slow so I got to take a two hour nap after I put my still sick little guy to sleep. Neither of us slept well last night.
