Anyone have luck catching a feral chicken?? UPDATE: Rooster caught, no hen

Well HAPPY Late Birthday!!!!

All you people and your 62 degrees :barnie.

I got up to at least 4 inches of the S word. AND it is still falling. The forecast was on target in the morning yesterday. The evening forecast was WAY off. I left the sides of the hoop run up and now may have to shovel it out too.

I am going to finish my coffee then gear up to shovel me a path to the birds.

I will get a couple of pictures for you warm weather folks so you can see what yer missing.
:tongue

I had a kitty litter scoop that broke (flimsy POC). I had this (pic below) colander spoon in my kitchen drawer. I picked up at an outlet store somewhere and it is PERFECT for scooping poop! It is very sturdy and durable! The chicken poop always fell out between the kitty scoop slots too.

Oh I need one of those immediately. I use a kitty litter scoop but that would be even better

Your reality is what my nightmares are made of. It's coming for us too, but I think you win the award for snowiest area so far.

Hahaha! Is that a twerking pig???

Why is Peat Moss so expensive? I guess it is in large bags and contains a lot. It is $7 cheaper at Home Depot than Lowe’s. I think Lowe’s maybe organic.

Loved his little booty!!!!

I've never dealt with peat moss..... it literally killed me to see our sawdust order was $250!!... lemme say that again.... saw.. DUST... the stuff that's made from cutting wood... made from chewed up wood scraps.... was $250!!!

So, I'm pretty much gonna be MIA this morning..... I really need to get some things completed indoors while it is rainy and wet and cold outside. moist balls

PS. Here's my incubating eggs! We're currently on day 12. Just did a 2nd candling last night and we have 8 with DEFINITE movement!

And you didn't even get the entertainment when mine was delivered.

Driver tried to put his truck in my creek. Luckily the tree stopped him. Then we had to tow him out... Blew two tires in the process.

Who is NFC??
My birthday was yesterday and hubby is in Montana, again. He did send me flowers which was a nice surprise. My 2 sister-in-law’s took me to breakfast.
My son has has a cold and sore throat for a couple of weeks, but his tonsils don’t look so hot this morning. He is finally getting his wish to stay home from school and go to the doctor. He hasn’t felt great, but has still been able to go to school. I will update later.
Happy Birthday a day late!!!!!

Did the egg in the bottom left crack? What laid the really dark on on the top right? Wow, what a variety.. Are those all from your birds, or did you get eggs from elsewhere?

Not to bad but :barnie.
The second pic is the top of the hoop run showing how much piled up there.
Well the girls heard me so are grumbling wanting out. Time to shovel. The big run has no real snow protection so I gotta clear that too.
Oh wow... It's pretty, but I do not envy you at all. So they come outside an frolic in the snow and no one's toes get frostbite and fall off?
