Anyone have luck catching a feral chicken?? UPDATE: Rooster caught, no hen

Have y’all missed me today????

I worked all day and didn’t get a lot accomplished. I moved Sesame to the other side of the coop and I don’t think she is happy. The chicks freaked out too with the change. I have decided Chickens don’t like change!!

Speaking of bantam roosters... even though these are only 6 or so weeks old, I have wanted to wring a couple of necks. Why to chickens have to peck so hard???? The poor victims let out a squeal of pain. I have at least 4 Roosters (to be) and no clue about the Silkies yet.

Oh well.
We're you gone??? Haha just kidding.....of course we missed you

It's DELICIOUS. I used to think the same thing (eww!!! gross! raw fish! parasites!) until I married this half-breed Asian guy. He turned me on to the joys of kimchi (yeah, not so much) and sushi. (oh yeah baby, sooooooooo good!!!)

You have to start out small. California roll. Which is fake crab, or "krab," lol, which is actually cooked fish--pollock I think--that is chilled) and veggies. And from there, you get a spicy tuna roll, which is actually finely chopped up raw tuna mixed with like some kind of spicy mayo. And then you can stop there, or continue. Good sushi is like OMG FREAKING DELICIOUS. And if you can get it at half price during happy hour, it's so much better....
Totally agree with everything you just said. I crave sushi if I haven't had it in a while. Yum yum yum!

That whole field trip was a crazy and wonderful experience. First and most of all there was no coordination between schools. Half the hotel were american kids and the other half Japanese. And then there was the dragon lady! The 5th grade teacher who assumes adults are her children. She was not at all prepared for my chief and I. As crazy as it sounds, we had a field trip that both my chief and I could attend. She gave us her chaperone rule list on day one... and was a little bothered by the fact that I lit it on fire with my cig. First night in the hotel, we got all the kids to bed and then had beer delivered to the room, she came storming in (my chief was in his skivvy's already) to complain about the beer. The second night she about had a heart attack when all the chaperones were hanging out at the bar. And the next night, the Japanese and american chaperones got together and we did joint things (totally off script) and the kids had a ton of fun and learned a lot about various cultures. that night we had a dance for the kids and it was wonderful to watch. Dragon lady wasn't happy but figured out she was no longer in charge. So a simple case of the chaperones hi jacking the field trip.

I for one, am living through you .
Actually, I’m a duckaholic, but I like chickens too
