Anyone have luck catching a feral chicken?? UPDATE: Rooster caught, no hen

Fish has to be fried or grilled no exceptions

Oh Sam! You gotta broaden your horizons! They prolly just don't have good sushi in Texas.

You ever come to Jersey, stop by! I will take you to the shore, we will drink beer by the ocean, I will ply you with lemondrop shots (if you are so inclined, that is), and then when you are good and silly, I will get you to eat a California roll, and perhaps suck down a few boiled clams in the shell in garlic butter and oil. You will be a True Believer.

Jersey seafood is a treat not too be missed! :drool

Well, I got up to fifty four, and then quit. I spent 1 1/2 hours of my life reading this.

Welcome to BYC, chickie!:welcome

You will soon learn, an hour and a half ain't NUTHIN'. Soon, this will become your life. And you will bemoan the rest of the time you are forced to do other unnecessary things, like work, sleep, go food shopping <evil grin>.

They don’t have good BBQ in TX either!!

For about 12 years, I spent a week or so a month in ACY and truly miss the fresh sea food.

Ok good. She's does scratch at it sometimes and likes to roll in the grass to try and rub it. I've kept her collar off unless we have to go out. It's cracking a little where she bends her neck but she seems better. It's not hot and it's not as red.

Should I try and soften or remove some of that crust? Or just keep treating as is?

Leave. The. Crust. Alone!!!!!

Like I tell my kiddos at school every day, "Do not pick that scab. Leave it alone. Scabs are Nature's Bandaids!!!!"

Now, go back to playing with your chickens, love up on your dog, and keep giving her her meds, till they are gone. And do not pick that scab!
