Anyone have Polbars??

not quite, between 1946 and 1954, a woman named Laura Kaufman crossed barred plymouth rock with the native polish green legged partridge. So they're not a cross with the polish chicken we are familiar with. Although that would be a fun autosexing project. Alas, my husband would leave me. You can find them in europe, but not sure about here....
 
Those are pretty! I actually don't know, because I have seen alot of crossbreds that looked like that... Maybe I just assumed some were crosses, when they actually were:confused:

I actually have a mutant BR that looks sorta similar just now. I don't breed so I don't get overly het about the genetics of my birds but it must be so frustrating if you do.
 
I think they’re pretty cool and would love to find some because of my Polish heritage and the autosexing qualities.
