My turner keeps them on their side and rocks back and forth. In this position the part of the egg facing up is where the veins first develop. I never touch the eggs. I use a surefire flashlight and move it over the eggs to candle. I have very large duck eggs in my turner now. I will candle tonight or tomorrow night. I expect to see the same type of initial development in them as in the previous goose eggs.
