Anyone have Sultans....from Ideal??

My chicks shipped a day early, and came on Thursday. So they're 5 days old today. The little sultans' wings are very feathered out compared to the other babies, who are just barely starting to show wing feathers. The sultan babies' wing feathers are all at least an inch long. One got a really pasty butt yesterday, but seems to be doing great today. They're active and happy so far!

All have little vaulted skulls, 5 toes per foot, and great little beards. Here's a pic of one on Thursday. It had been playing in the water.

sorry to hijack...but

My only quam was I ordered 2 blue Mille Fleur D'Uccles & 2 Gold neck D'uccles they sent me 1 pullet(thankgosh) Blue MF & 3 Gold neck cocks.

When you order blue mille fleurs you get a mix of black, blue, and splash based birds....so what you got when you ordered 2 blue mille fleur was a blue and a splash....and you got what you ordered

Here's my babies tonight. They're ten days old now. I've lost two of the four bantam sultans. The one that had a pasty butt just couldn't make it. I got her cleaned up really well, and she didn't paste over again, but I think it was too bad before I found her that way (after getting home from a day trip at 2:30am!). The other baby I found dead in the brooder when I got home from work the next day. There was no evidence as to what happened to it. I also lost a bantam wyandotte. The other 13 bantam babies are doing great!

Anyway, here are my two remaining bantam sultans. You can see that the gray one is tiny compared to the other...

AWWW !! STILL CUTE, but i very sorry for your losses. BUT AT LEAST U STILL HAVE TWO !! I'll pray for a pair or two pullets !
